Today I am stymied by a word that everyone seems to spell wrong.
DEFINITELY (seen most recently as definately or difinately)
Use the spell-check, which is what it was invented for, or just learn to spell better.
I also learned a new word today: suzerain. It was mentioned on just about every other page in Eleanor of Acquitaine's biography and also in the introduction to Jaroslav Hasek's The Good Soldier Svejk. So I thought it would be a good idea to actually determine the correct meaning. I wasn't off by much; I just thought it would be more exotic than a feudal overlordship.
